Invitations: by Magie

Invitations: By Magie

The family of our friend, Magie, owns a printing press business. She showed us some samples of wedding invitations. We had a particular idea in mind (from another supplier) and they accommodated the customizations that we want.

We also had our thank you cards (placed in the wedding give-aways) and misalette covers printed by them.

Notes:
Creating and designing invitations must be done as early as possible so that there will still be time to look for other options. We started meeting our invitation supplier less than two months before the wedding, and so we were severely time pressured. We had problems with the envelopes, but we had to quickly improvise just to be able to send out the invitations.
The supplier, herself, was also pressured because some materials were unavailable (exact shade of blue green for the foil).

After getting our invites from the supplier, our next problem as a couple was the guest list. We realized that the guest list had to be finalized way, way earlier and that the names to be printed on the envelopes must be ready even before the invitations came.

We used our trusty old laser printer for printing the names on the envelope.
