Our souvenirs were semi-Do-It-Yourself. We gave away yummy chocolate covered polvoron from the House of Polvoron, packaged in sinamay pouches decorated with blue green flowers and silver ribbons.

this is the "look" that i wanted for my invites. 6" x 6" abaca from divi (at PHP25 per yard -- makes 18 pcs), natural-colored straw from SM (didn't find any of these at divi) and paper from National bookstore.

sigh. now, if i can only figure out how to keep the abaca edges neat and tidy...

ever since we "picked" nuestra senora de gracia, i have been thinking of a filipiniana-themed wedding. i read articles at kasal.com about filipiniana and pinoy-christmaswedding themes. wow! the possibilities are endless, as they say. i can make DIY invitations with sinamay cover, have cabalen as our caterer (this is our first choice), use pina for my gown and his barong, mini-kampampangan parols as table decors and cutie filipiniana souvenirs (what, i don't know).
